Orphans are as much a part of society as are the other children. So just, like all other children in the society, they need to be recognized as a part of nation as well. However the current NADRA laws states that if the information about an orphans parents is not knowns or confirmed, that child does not get any identification card.
Ghairsiyaasisiaasat initiative has been taken so that a law can be passed where these innocent children who have no idea about the where abouts of their parents or who lost their parents at such a tender age that they don’t have any recollection regarding them can be recognized as registered citizen of Pakistan. It is their fundamental, ethical and moral right to be recognized as citizen of Pakistan and we realize that fact. This is why we are ready to take every possible step to give these children what they deserve.
